After returning home, Live Again will continuously check in on the patient’s health status. For patients needing follow-up consultations with their treating professor months after returning from Korea, Live Again can assist in scheduling “Video Consultations” or “Second Opinion” services to provide the necessary support.

WHAT IS A SUBSTITUTE EXAMINATION?

Live Again’s medical coordinator at the hospital will meet directly with the treating professor on behalf of the patient. The coordinator will inquire about the patient’s condition and any questions the patient has, then relay the professor’s responses and insights to the patient.

Advantages:

WHAT IS A WRITTEN SECOND OPINION?

This service allows patients to receive a written report from doctors, providing insights into their current health condition, diagnosis, or treatment plan. The patient’s relevant medical records are sent to the hospital for review.

  • Patients seeking a second opinion on a diagnosis or treatment plan from a local hospital
  • Patients with undiagnosed conditions at a local hospital seeking further insights
  • Patients looking for alternative treatment options beyond what is offered locally

  • Image review fees:
    • CT: 60,000~80,000 won
    • MRI: 220,000~290,000 won
    • PET-CT: 350,000~440,000 won

WHAT IS AN ONLINE VIDEO CONSULTATION?

This service enables patients to receive medical advice from Korean doctors via PC or smart devices from the comfort of their home. Both the patient and their local treating doctor can participate in the consultation and ask questions.
