ACTOR KIM WOO BIN DONATES 100 MILLION WON TO ASAN MEDICAL CENTER TO KICK OFF THE NEW YEAR

Actor Kim Woo Bin has started 2025 with a meaningful gesture by donating 100 million won (approximately $75,000 USD) to Asan Medical Center in Seoul, according to an announcement by his agency, AM Entertainment, on January 1.

The donation will be used to support medical expenses for underprivileged patients, allowing them access to advanced healthcare services at one of South Korea’s leading hospitals.

Notably, just last month, Kim Woo Bin also delivered over 150 Christmas gifts along with handwritten letters to pediatric patients at the hospital, bringing joy and hope to the children.

Kim Woo Bin’s Journey: From Model to Renowned Actor

Kim Woo Bin debuted as a model at Seoul Fashion Week 2008 and officially began his acting career with the KBS drama special “White Christmas” in 2011. He gained widespread fame through popular works such as:

However, in 2017, Kim Woo Bin had to pause his career after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. Following a courageous battle, he made a triumphant return in 2022 with the sci-fi film “Alienoid” and the drama series “Our Blues”.
