The Postpartum Care Center at CHA Bundang Women’s Hospital is located within the same building as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, the Pediatrics Department, and the Pediatric Emergency Medical Center, allowing for quick responses to emergency situations for mothers and babies.
- Room type of the center
Bundang CHA Women’s Hospital’s postpartum care center is divided into four types of rooms: normal room A, normal room B, Special room and Super special room. The furniture and bedding in all rooms are newly equipped so that new mothers can rest comfortably.
- Experts directly prepare “Nutritional balanced diet”
Every Wednesday, mothers can enjoy a wide selection of diverse dishes, with a health care menu specially designed by nutrition experts to ensure postnatal nutritional safety.
- Strict management of health, infection control, and hygiene for newborns.
For newborns, careful and precise health management is crucial. At the Postpartum Care Center of CHA Bundang Women’s Hospital, a pediatric professor examines the baby’s condition and provides timely pediatric treatment if any abnormalities are detected, while nurses are on duty 24/7 to care for the newborns.
Infection control is carried out as meticulously as in a general hospital. The HEPA filtration system, typically installed in sterile rooms and operating theaters to block fine dust and bacteria, operates 24/7 here to control infections in the newborn care room.
- Postpartum recovery program
The lounge at the Center offers chairs and foot massage machines available for use at any time, along with various other programs designed for new mothers.
Every week, a pediatric professor from Bundang CHA Women’s Hospital visits to provide guidance on basic health issues, such as vaccinations, and the nurses offer essential information on newborn care education for mothers.
A traditional Oriental medicine gynecology professor is also available for 1:1 consultations on postpartum care using Oriental medicine.
