Cha Hospital was originally called “Cha Obstetrics and Gynecology”, located in Cho-dong, Jung-gu in 1960, then moved to its current location, Cha Gangnam Hospital in 1984.ย

After moving to Gangnam, the medical team devoted themselves to research and became the first private hospital in Korea to successfully deliver babies conceived through in vitro fertilization (in 1986).ย

This was followed by the first pregnancy in Asia (1987) of an eggless pregnant woman, and the world’s first pregnancy and childbirth (IVM) using in vitro immature egg culture (1989). , is a testament to CHA’s great achievements.ย

Not only in Korea (Gangnam, Bundang, Daegu, Seoul Station, Ilsan), CHA is also present in Australia. CHA Bundang was established in 1995 to meet the infertility treatment needs of domestic patients, CHA Daegu Women’s Health Research Institute in 2000, CHA Seoul Ga Women’s Health Research Institute in 2016, and CHA Women’s Health Research Institute Seoul Ga in 2016.
