CANCER INSTITUTE
In 2006, AMC established Korea’s first multidisciplinary cancer institute, initiating its comprehensive approach to cancer treatment. At the institute, specialists in diagnostic, surgical, medical, and radiation oncology collaborate to develop individualized care plans for each patient. The institute has conducted the largest number of cancer surgeries in Korea and has provided customized cancer treatment through its Center for Personalized Cancer Medicine.

CENTER FOR PERSONALIZED CANCER MEDICINE
The Center for Personalized Cancer Medicine (CPCM) opened in 2012, first in Korea. Medical oncologists refer metastatic cancer patients to the CPCM for genomic aberration profiling and matching, to identify potential targeted therapies available on the market or under clinical trials.

PRECISION MEDICINE IN ASAN CANCER INSTITUTE
- In 2011, ASAN Center for Cancer Genome Discovery(ASAN-CCGD) with 1,400 gene mutations of diverse tumor was established as AMC contracted with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI)

CAR T-CELL THERAPY CENTER
The CART Cell Therapy Center at Asan Medical Center comprises medical staff with abundant experience in blood cancer treatment and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and is based on the latest knowledge. We would like to give new hope to B cell lymphoma patients under the age of 25.
