The International Relations Office of Asan Medical Center, Seoul, is a hub for international collaboration and exchange. This office is responsible for engaging with agencies, patients, hospitals, and medical scholarship programs from around the world. The International Relations Office consists of two teams: the International Treatment Team and the International Exchange Team. The International Treatment Team focuses on patient care, while the International Exchange Team handles general tasks, international events, and the exchange programs for healthcare professionals.

The International Treatment Center of Asan Medical Center is the first place to provide services for foreign patients and expatriates seeking medical care from Asan Medical Center. The International Treatment Center is responsible for initial treatment and administrative procedures. Staff at the International Treatment Center offer a variety of services throughout the treatment process to assist patients. The center helps schedule treatment according to individual needs, provides language adjustments or assistance (interpretation, translation), and manages hospital tasks or billing procedures.

Language Assistance
INT provides language assistance services via its 7 interpreters. They offer language assistance and counseling services throughout the patient’s medical process from making appointments to receiving treatments. The institute’s interpretation services currently include:
English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Mongolian, Arabic and Vietnamese.
