The most important step before going to Korea is obtaining a visa. Live Again is ready to provide consultation and assist in applying for a medical visa on behalf of the patient, if needed.
Conditions for Live Again to Apply for a Medical Visa:
- The patient is undergoing examination and treatment for a serious illness in Korea. Live Again cannot apply for medical visas for general or minor medical examinations.
- The patient must be accompanied by a guardian (family member: father, mother, spouse, or children over 18 years old).
Medical Visa Documents Required:

For Patients and Guardians:
a. Passports (original) for both patient and guardian
b. ID Photos: 1 photo per person (35mm x 45mm, white background)
c. Medical Records: Diagnosis papers and medical records from Vietnam
d. Proof of Financial Capability: Copy and original savings book + deposit balance confirmation (issued within the last 15 days)- For Ho Chi Minh: Savings over 1 month – minimum 15,000 USD (330 million VND) / over 3 months – minimum 5,000 USD (110 million VND)
- For Hanoi and Da Nang: Savings over 3 months – minimum 10,000 USD (250 million VND) / over 6 months – minimum 5,000 USD (110 million VND)

Documents Proving Employment Status (one of the following):
- Employees: Labor contract and leave application
- Business Owners: Business registration certificate and tax payment certificate (detailed version, issued within the last 3 months)
- Students: Student ID or confirmation certificate, along with a leave of absence application

Identification Documents:
- Copy of ID card + original for verification
- Additional Documents (depending on the case): CT07 form (issued by the ward), birth certificate (notarized and translated into English), or marriage certificate.
Medical Visa Application Support
Live Again’s medical coordinators in Vietnam will advise and guide patients through the medical visa application process. They will assist with notarized translations of documents and submit the medical visa application on behalf of the patient at the Korean Visa Application Centers in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.
