Medical Visa Application

After deciding to go to Korea for medical examination and treatment and making an appointment at Korea Hospital, Live Again will advise the patient on procedures that need to be prepared before going to Korea.

Things to prepare before going to Korea

The most important thing when going to Korea is applying for a visa. Live Again is ready to support consultation and apply for medical visa replacement for patients if needed.

Conditions for Live Again to apply instead of a medical visa

  • A patient examined and treated for serious illness in Korea. Live Again does not have the authority to apply for medical visas for patients who want general examinations or minor medical examinations
  • The patient is accompanied by a guardian (family member: father, mother, spouse, children over 18 years old)

Medical Visa documents need to prepare:

1. For patients and guardians

a. Passport (original) x 2 people

b. 1 ID photo, size 35mm x 45mm, white background (1 photo per person)

c. Disease diagnosis papers and medical records in Vietnam

d. Copy of savings book + original savings book for comparison + original deposit balance confirmation, issued within the last 15 days)
*Savings book as of the application submission date

In Ho Chi Minh: over 1 month – from 15,000 USD (330 million VND) / over 3 months: from 5000 USD (110 million VND)

In Hanoi and Da Nang: over 3 months: from 10,000 USD (250 million VND) / over 6 months: from 5000 USD (110 million VND)

e. Documents proving occupation (1 of 3 cases below)
– Employees: Labor contract, Leave application
– Business owner: Business registration certificate, Tax payment certificate (detailed version, issued within the last 3 months)
– Students: Student ID card (copy)/Student confirmation certificate, application for leave of absencef. Copy of ID card + Original for comparison
g. Paper CT07 (applied at the ward)/Birth certificate (notarized translation into English)/Marriage certificate (depending on each case, the requirements will be different)

The medical coordinator in Vietnam advises and guides procedures for submitting medical visas, supports notarized translation of documents, and then submits medical visas on behalf of the patient at the Korean Visa Application Center (Ha Noi/Ho Chi Minh).
